About the event
Explore the rich, vibrant world of Lebanese wine with Michael Karam, author of Wines Of Lebanon: The Journey Continues, winner of the 2025 Andre Simon Award.
Michael will show seven wines from Chateau Ksara, Lebanon’s oldest commercial winery, founded by Jesuits in 1857 in the Bekaa Valley, a region with a winemaking heritage stretching back thousands of years. He will guide you through the unique history and distinct terroir of this small but resilient winemaking region, one whose history has been shaped by conflict, political instability and renewal.
The evening will also include a mezze of classic Levantine fare to accompany the tasting. Seating will be at tables of six, so why not book a table and make up a party for the evening.
Whether you are a wine geek or simply curious to learn more about an often misunderstood region, this is a rare opportunity to taste exceptional wines…
